A spokesperson said that due to the allergy, the performance will not go ahead.

“This decision is not about the performers or their ability to perform the show, it is about the performance of their allergies.

We have spoken to the producers of the show and they have agreed to cancel the show,” the spokesperson said.”

As part of this decision, we will also be removing all references to the musical from the website.

In a statement to, Victoria’s Bachelorettes, The Odeon Theatre and Odeons Entertainment Group said they were saddened to have to make this announcement.

Odeon has been operating The Prom since 2009 and has been a major Wellington venue since 2010.
